Setting the Emulation Mode

The BCF2000 can emulate a number of other devices by setting its operating mode at start-up. To do this, follow the instructions below:
  1. Turn the unit off
  2. Hold down one of the buttons in the row immediately below the V-Pots (they are numbered 1 through 8, working from left to right). The possible buttons are:
    1. Native B-Control
    2. Mackie/CueBase
    3. Logic Control
    4. Mackie/Sonar (the topic of this article)
    5. Baby HUI
  3. Turn on the unit then release the button
It is worth noting that, if you set the unit for Mackie/Sonar operation, the faders will move to the bottom of their travel if you successfully performed the operation described above.

Layout

The following describes the layout of the unit and the button assignments that apply when in the Mackie/Sonar emulation mode. There may be button combinations not listed here that I have not found, so please let me know if you find anything so that I can update this guide.
