Deleting Hidden Control Messages Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F to open the advanced filter. Make sure that the whole score radio button is selected. Make sure that Text is checked. Make sure that Notes, Rests and Lines are not checked. In the style list choose technique. (MIDI messages are usually added in this style, except for BPM messages which are in the metronome text style, I think.) In the text containing box type in "~C". Press the filter button. The dialog closes and you should have selected all the text containing control change data. FYI, MIDI CC messages are constructed in the form "~CX,Y". Where: "~C" identifies that the message is a control change. X is the controller number. Y is the value. So, a sustain pedal down message would be "~C64,127" and the pedal up would be "~C64,0". High volume and low volume would be "~C7,127" and "~C7,127". Also note that any text following a "~" is hidden in the score and will not be printed.
